I grew up in Handsworth, Birmingham, UK and had an early fascination for wildlife, sparked by family visits to India’s countryside and later nurtured through school trips to zoos and nature reserves.
But it was my first tiger safari in 2008 that truly changed me. After days of soul searching in the forest, to finally see a wild tiger in its natural habitat was indescibable.
My first wild tiger
After all this time, I want my images to evoke emotion, reveal stories, and spark change. I despise wildlife crime and believe in giving back to our natural world.
Over the past decade, I’ve travelled near and far, chasing endangered species and moments that connect us to nature. My goal is to present these animals to you in the best possible light, literally and metaphorically, so we might all feel more compelled to protect them.
My portfolio showcases learnings work from wildlife sanctuaries and zoos (in my early years) with the majority of work in natural habitats.
Now my focus is entirely on capturing wildlife in the wild.
I’ve been fortunate to represent Nikon and Canon in retail settings (Jessops, John Lewis, Currys PC World), and the product training through REL/Big Picture sharpened my technical understanding of these systems in field-use contexts.
A special highlight for me in 2022 was to be able to go back to my primary School, and thank my teachers and present to the whole assembly.
